What is BTX?
BTX is widely known as the go-to injectable treatment to smoothen outlines by preventing the muscles from contracting into a wrinkle. The injection weakens or paralyses certain muscles in the area being treated and effects can last for several months to a year, based on the conditions being treated.

Forehead Lines
Forehead wrinkles, also known as "surprise lines", become more apparant as we age and can give a "aged" overall appearance. BTX allows the forehead to look smoother and less tired.
Glabellar's Lines (Frown Lines)
These vertical creases give a tired or angry look. BTX can subtly smooth these frown lines which will result in a rejuvenated and more relaxed appearance.
Crow's Feet
The appearance of lines lines at the outer corner of the eyes. BTX is effective in reducing their appearance and can also help to alleviate drooping eyelids.
Eyebrows

How Long Does a
BTX Shot Last?
The effects from BTX will last 3 to 6 months. As muscle action slowly returns, the lines and wrinkles begin to reappear and need to be treated again.
The lines and wrinkles often appear less severe with time because the muscles are shrinking.
How Is a BTX Procedure Done?
Getting BTX takes only a few minutes. You won’t need anesthesia. Our medical doctor uses a small needle to inject BTX into specific muscles with only minor discomfort.
It generally takes 7 to 14 days to take full effect. It’s best to avoid alcohol starting at least 1 week before the procedure. You should also stop taking aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications 2 weeks before treatment to help prevent bruising.
Avoid rubbing the injection site for 24 hours so you don’t spread the BTX to another area. Your doctor may also tell you to stay upright for 4 hours after the shots and to take a day off from exercising.
Who Should NOT Get BTX?
People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a neurological disease shouldn’t use BTX.
