
SAGGY FACE PROGRAMME
Facial sagging is one of the more obvious signs of ageing. This a result of a loosening of the different layers of the face, including the skin, superficial and deep fat, and superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS). In addition, there is a migration of facial fat towards the front and middle of the face.

A surgical face lift has been the gold standard for treating facial sagging. However, the associated downtime, together with the general risks of surgery has spurred consumers to look for non-invasive methods of face lifting. These come in the form of energy-based devices such as radiofrequency or High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) devices.

STEP 1 - HIGH INTENSITY FOCUSED ULTRASOUND
We start off with a session of HIFU. The HIFU utilizes ultrasound to deliver energy to the layer of the SMAS and deep fat, while bypassing the skin. This energy will coagulate proteins and fats in those layers, causing tightening and stimulating collagen production. By avoiding the skin, a stronger energy can be delivered to the deeper layers of the face, allowing for a greater effect without the risks of burns.
STEP 2 - VENUS LEGACY
We follow up with Venus Legacy radiofrequency treatments 2 weeks later. During these treatments, radiofrequency energy is used to gently heat up the skin and superficial fat. This heat stimulates collagen production in those layers, allowing for gradual skin tightening. This can be done weekly.

Calecim Multi Action
We recommend applying the Calecim Multi Action Cream in the morning. The Multi Action Cream contains powerful growth factors derived from umbilical cord lining extract. These growth factors signal to the skin to activate proteins responsible for maintaining its suppleness, reversing signs of ageing and restoring fullness.
Some patients might benefit from the additional injection of dermal fillers and the use of threadlifts that is not part of this programme. However, we recommend the use of the energy based devices featured in this programme for most patients as a first step to build the foundation required for future treatments.
